Academic Procedure Questions: Changing Advisors

As an incoming freshman in the CEMS program at Alfred, you are randomly assigned an academic advisor who will assist you in your first year in the program. At the beginning of your sophomore year, you will be assigned a new academic advisor that will guide you through your remaining years at Alfred. If for some reason you decide that you would like to change your academic advisor, the necessary paperwork can be obtained from the Registrar's office. After obtaining the signatures of your current advisor, the person you would like to be your new advisor, and the dean of the CEMS program, the form should be returned to the Registrar's office. Your records will be transferred to your new advisor and the change will be complete.
